Gerry Hummel

The Common Sense Canadian's cartoonist in residence. While working at a paper mill and raising two children as a single-dad in Kitimat, BC, Gerry began working as a self-taught editorial cartoonist for the town paper in 1993.

    I posted links to these excellent toons on Opinion250 some time back and they were almost instantly deleted.
    I guess Ben Miesner took offence to them for some reason.

    The intent of the cartoons is, indeed, hilarious and the T-shirt idea is great.
    But my first reaction was that the first two drawings - especially the first, were of Bill Vander Zalm! not Campbell. So, not trusting my own judgment, I covered up all but the first and asked an office colleague who the first picture depicted.
    The answer? "Bill Vander Zalm."
