The pair have worked hard to raise in the Legislature issues surrounding the regulation of the industry and its impacts on water, health, and the province's economy. (March 24 - 20 min)

Listen to this interview of Damien Gillis by CKNW's Simi Sara on recent revelations that so-called run of the river projects are killing fish. The two also discuss Provincial Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations Steve Thomson's appearance on Sara's show this past Friday and the complete lack of penalties or enforcement by either DFO or the Province on these blatant violations by several private power operators. What is the world's scientific community saying about Canada's muzzling of scientists and cutting off funding to key research projects and regulatory bodies - and how is that damaging Canada's global reputation? (19 min - from March 7, 2012)

Listen to Damien Gillis on CHLY's A Sense of Justice from last week, discussing Enbridge and Kinder-Morgan's proposed Tar Sands pipelines through BC. Damien and host Rae Kornberger cover the National Energy Board's recently-begun hearings into the Northern Gateway Pipeline to Kitimat and the contention by fake grassroots group EthicalOil.org and the Harper Government that foreign interests are behind BC's opposition to the project. Is there any truth to these claims and what is the relationship between EthicalOil.org and the Harper Government? (41 min - from Jan. 11)

Listen to this 7 min interview of Damien Gillis from CBC's Early Edition this past Monday. Damien and host Kathryn Gretsinger discuss some of the key revelations that have emerged from the Cohen Commission into disappearing Fraser River Sockeye - including a series of new virus discoveries in BC's wild fish and the political pressure faced by several top scientists after their labs confirmed the existence of these viruses.

Damien Gillis and Stewart Richardson of CJSF 90.1 FM discuss the intense activity around the proposed Enbridge pipeline of late - including the recent controversy among the Gitxsan community on Northwest BC, centering on a now-disputed deal signed by one of their treaty negotiators and the company last week. Since the taping of this interview, the Tsilhqot'in peoples won an injunction to halt early construction work on the highly controversial mine.
